Rules

  • Children must be under 4’ 10” (148 cm) and under 12 years old to enter the play area. Adults and older children are not allowed on the play equipment to play.

  • Children & adults must adhere to the rules of play advertised in the facility.

  • Children must always be supervised by an adult or guardian. Staff only supervise the correct use of the equipment and cannot take responsibility for children.

  • Children/young adults between the age of twelve and seventeen are not permitted on the equipment. Supervision or assistance of younger children must be done by an adult of 18 years of age or over.

  • Children using the baby area must always be accompanied by an adult.

  • For hygiene and safety reasons socks must always be worn, by both children & adults.

  • Long sleeves and trousers are required for safe play, we recommend that short skirts and dresses are not worn, no shoes are allowed in the play system. Remove all sharp or hard items such as watches, and belt buckles before play.

  • When using the slide please always keep your arms folded. It is recommended that arms and legs are covered when using the slide, no trains – make sure the person in front has reached the bottom before you set off, always sit down, face forward & never climb up the slide.

  • Only food and drink purchased at play can be consumed on the premises.

  • Chewing gum is not permitted in any area.

  • Fire doors must always remain clear. 

  • The kitchen closes for food orders one hour before our advertised closing time.

  • Any individual suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs or acts in an aggressive or offensive nature to staff or customers will be asked to leave the premises.

  • We cannot accept liability for damage to vehicles or loss of valuables through theft whilst on site. Cars are parked at the owner’s risk.

  • If you are unhappy about any aspect during your visit, please highlight your concern to a senior member of staff before the end of session. We will endeavour to rectify any issues you may have promptly.

  • Management reserves the right to refuse admission at any time Management reserves the right to change the prices, opening hours and terms and conditions of play! without prior notice.

  • These terms and conditions are not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to amend them without notice For Health and Safety reasons children are not permitted to run in the cafe bar.

Additional Party Rules

  • No party poppers, silly string or pinatas allowed at parties.

  • Payment is expected in full prior to leaving the facility on the day of the child’s birthday party. If however the invoice is not paid, and we are unable to establish contact with you, Play Oldham Ltd reserves the right to charge interest at the rate prescribed by the Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act 1998 from the date payment was due until the date payment is made. If after 30 days the invoice remains unpaid, Play Oldham Ltd will serve notice that it intends to take legal action to obtain any money owed.

  • If extra sweets/gifts are provided by the parent/guardian for placement in the party bags/boxes provided by play! they must be of a size and quantity that can reasonably be expected to fit.

  • Food may contain nuts or traces of nuts.

  • You must bring your birthday cake, candles, and serviettes to wrap the cake with you on the day of your party.

  • Ten minutes before end of the party an announcement is made indicating that the children should exit the equipment and prepare for departure (shoes, coats, etc) We then encourage the birthday child to hand each one of his/her guests a party bag.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any food or drink products not purchased from or supplied by play! We cannot be held responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of any personal property during your time at play!
